We’ve started something new here in Corvallis. Our local Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is sponsoring a weekly kirtan/meditation circle that has been drawing upwards of 20-30 people. We usually have a mix of chanting, live and to CDs, a short talk on Bhakti — we’ve been using a lecture Krishna Das did at Bhakti Fest in 2013 — and selections from Deva & Miten’s 21-Day Mantra Meditation Journey. This week’s podcast is most of the set from last week’s circle — I have an hour and a half at the Fellowship, so I had to edit a bit. This has been truly a beautiful & peaceful way to end the week — it’s now Saturday morning and I can still feel the effects of last night.
Just a thought, but you could do this too. Gather a group of chanting friends, have dinner and play this podcast — it could turn into a thing. Until next time, dear ones. Love from me.
PS. I couldn’t find Edo & Jo’s ‘Narayani Om’ on ITunes, here’s the link to their website.
