Nataraj is the dancing form of Lord Shiva. Usually you see this depicted in bronze as the god Shiva dancing in a circle of flames with his foot crushing a demon that symbolizes ignorance. We have more big news for you this week — the Denver Chant Fest has hired New World Kirtan to do podcasts, interviews & perhaps live streaming from the festival Friday, February 15 through Sunday February 17! As part of that I’ll be interviewing Jai Uttal, Dave Stringer & C.C. White this week — w00t! I’m pinching myself. New World Kirtan listeners also get a discount on tickets, so when you register enter promotional code NWK & you’ll get 20% off.
The set this week features some of my favorite artists, I hope you enjoy the mix. Namaste.
