Sunday night my husband, son & I went to see Snatam Kaur sing kirtan. What a light she is, standing in her faith so strongly that it’s impossible not to be moved into singing and dancing and riding the joy train right along with her voice, Guru Ganesha Singh’s guitar and Ramesh Kannan’s percussion. All of us in that church on Sunday night were on the train together, singing along with each other until our hearts cracked open and filled with Love. Go see her, it’s an experience you won’t forget.
The set this week is a crude recreation of the live kirtan. Enjoy the offering. Namaste.
