This week I thought I’d feature chants from the rich world of Sikh kirtan music. It was hard to pick just a few songs for the set, especially when listening to to the beauty of the chants sung by Snatam Kaur. She has such an amazing voice–rich & pure, filled with the glory of Spirit. These are some of my favorites, I hope you enjoy them also. Namaste.

Another beautiful podcast. I originally fell in love with the “Crimson Collection” that was produced by Invincible Music many years ago. They featured Singh Kaur’s beautiful voice with Kim Robertson’s Celtic harp. I was drawn to them from the mantra aspect and listed to them for years before learning they were Sikh mantras. Now many years later I turn to kirtan and these Sikh kirtan melodies (both old and new recordings) to help rebalance my days.
Namaste
I’ve listened to “Wahe Guru” several times since posting, there are chants I really love on that podcast. I’ve got the “Crimson Collection” up on ITunes to take a listen to, thanks for letting me know about it.
