If you’ve been reading this blog and listening to the podcast you know that our Sunday satsang group sings kirtan to CDs, and that’s the music which forms the backbone of this podcast. Since we live in a small town, live kirtan doesn’t get here very often, so most of us in the group have only chanted to CDs. But all that is about to change, because a group of us is coming up to Portland on Sunday night to chant with Dave Stringer at the Amrita Sanctuary. You can get tickets here. I hope to meet some of you and sing with you, let me know if you’ll be there!
In the spirit of the dual celebration of Passover and Easter last week, the bonus track in the podcast is “Shema” from the Kirtan Rabbi’s CD “Live!”. I’m listening to new kirtan music every day, and I can’t wait to bring you what I’ve been finding in upcoming podcasts. Hope you enjoy this week’s set. Namaste.
