Tonight is Winter Solstice, and it’s also the 6th anniversary of the launch of the podcast. This has been a beautiful path of seva for me, a joyous circle of giving and receiving. If you’re reading this, or if you’re a listener I want to say thank you. My life has been enriched by you, and I hope we can continue being in this beautiful circle together for many years to come. The news today seemed appropriate for the darkest night of the year. And appropriate for return of the light is the prayer a friend on Facebook posted after the CIA report came out. The Great Invocation was new to me — it’s a World Prayer, an invocation for light and love, that has been translated into around 70 languages and dialects and used by people of goodwill world-wide to invoke the light, love and spiritual direction needed to create right relationships on earth. It was originally written in 1945 — there are several versions which have been modified to reflect the world’s changing consciousness.
This prayer has become part of my morning meditation, and now I’m sharing it with you. Have a blessed Holiday with your family & friends dear hearts. Peace on earth.

“From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.
From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
