The Pushpams (Sanskrit for a ceremonial offering of flowers) are a kirtan group local to Denver, and they played a great set two weeks ago at the Denver Chant Fest. The Pushpams are a fairly new band, but the members are veteran musicians & yogis with a sound that features strong vocals & rhythm. I think you’ll enjoy hearing their kirtan, and look for a new CD in June.
