Lately the solace of the Real has assumed a lot more importance in my life, as I’ll tell you about in the podcast. Spiritual practices are my lifeline. I’ve especially loved the practice & the message of the Lakshmi-bija mantra, it is helping me to open to the fullness of the darkness & the light. We’re never alone on the journeys we take in life. I hope the podcast will provide company for whatever journey you’re embarking on. Namaste, dear ones.

The Breath Of Lakshmi

Om Shrim Maha Lakshmiyai Namaha

When we work with the awareness that Lakshmi personifies the fullness of life, we begin to enter the sublime realm of this deity field. Lakshmi is the fullness of life in all its fertile darkness and magnificent light. Think about what it means to dive into this fullness, embracing the sheer hugeness of it all.
As you contemplate the presence of Lakshmi, imagine that as you breathe in, you breathe in this fullness. And as you breathe out, you move into it. Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out, opening wider and wider, deeper and deeper, moving into this inexhaustible vitality, life force, and grace. This is the breath of Lakshmi.
You can take this practice deeper by repeating the Lakshmi-bija mantra silently, coordinating it with your breath.
