While we were singing this set on Sunday night, the US House was voting on health care reform. The vote was important to me for many reasons, and so was directing my kirtan energy toward Washington to help support our lawmakers. The historic HCR vote on Sunday also influenced the chants I chose for our group to sing on Sunday night. And so here it is … uncut and unedited … the health care reform set. This is the most beautiful set I have heard yet ~ I am still catching up on previous podcasts but have listened to about 16 so far. The only way this one could have been more blissful is if it included Sam Rossitto’s Lokah Samasta. I have not seen him on your podcasts yet. His Lotus Tattoo CD was released in 2007 and is my favorite kirtan recording. This podcast has a special meaning for me as it uses my mantra. Truly lovely.
