My morning routine usually starts with a cup of something hot & the New York Times. When I started producing the podcast I added kirtan listening to this routine–except it’s not working anymore. It has become impossible for me to read the news & listen to kirtan, as pretty soon the dissonance in my brain just becomes too much & I surrender to one or the other. I like to be informed, but it’s a more peaceful day when I surrender to the kirtan.
Give it up for the kirtan. Namaste.
